Today's Random Rablings

Each and every month since we met (over six years ago) dear sweet Jack has gifted me flowers on our anniversary date. Yesterday, in anticipation of our little one's arrival and my love of fresh color, he went nuts with beautiful pretties on our monthly mark. Thank you honey for being the best husband, father and friend a girl could ever wish for. I don't know what I would ever do without you!

During yesterday midwife appointment Charlene and Terri gave me a rundown of 'homework' to tackle and complete while little dude still decides to stay put. First on the 'to-do' list was a visit to the chiropractor. Good golly did Rachel (the DC) do a number on me this afternoon (in a good way).  From hand, shin and ear pressure points to hittin' me up with the Fisher Price like jack hammer thingy. With all the crazy Webster (pregnancy specialized) moves, I can only hope I'm in better shape.

I can't remember the last time I had a doughnut - or bought a doughnut. Maybe while at SanMar?
Krispy Kreme is just next door to the chriopratic office and I was a sucker. Without question when I walked out the door and smelled the yummy goodness and saw the 'hot light' on, I was sold. A delicious pumpkin spice old fashioned had my name all over it.

Our Wonderful Begining

Sunday, December 2nd 2007

What a day, I felt like the luckiest kid in the world! We feel so blessed that we were able to share our day with friends and loved ones. It truly was one of the happiest days of both our lives and we loved each and every minute of it!

Our planning process was a whirl wind. Who says you can’t plan the perfect day in three months, and have a blast doin’ it?! I realized during our planning how truly lucky I am to have Jack to stand beside. Our happy day was truly a testimony of team work, love, compromise and countless episodes sittin’ side by side watching WE tv wedding shows.

Small and intimate was our goal...no maid of honor, no best man, no big wedding party, just Jack’s adorable nieces as the flower girls. Our original guest count was not to exceed 50, a comfortable 100 graced us with their presence. It was intimate, warm, exciting…it was the best day we’ve shared together.
