Twenty Two Weeks

Jackaroo and I are kickin' it somewhere in Peru. :) Post coming soon!
__________
No new crazy, or wacky symptoms to speak of. Kind of a ‘boring’ week in the pregnancy front really. I’m feeling great and starting to show a little more and more each day.

I’m beginning to become aware of my stomach more and more. This week I’ve noticed more tightness in my abdomen region – similar to the feeling of being too full, but not uncomfortably full. And the lil’ guy is starting to take on a rounder vs. wider shape (yippee!)

We did have one slight concern during our touristo adventure in Nicaragua. The Pan-American Highway is out of control! Pot hole and rock hole city. My goodness it’s a bumpy ride.

After 45mins of gripping my stomachs to ease the discomfort Jack asked if I could ride shot gun to relieve some of the discomfort. Four hours on a rockin’ bus made for one sore kid. Update- I asked the doctor about our bumpy travels during my 23wk check up. He said not to worry at all. Buster is snug as a bug in a rug and very well cushioned floating around in all that fluid.A tobacco plantation in Nicaragua

Our Wonderful Begining

Sunday, December 2nd 2007

What a day, I felt like the luckiest kid in the world! We feel so blessed that we were able to share our day with friends and loved ones. It truly was one of the happiest days of both our lives and we loved each and every minute of it!

Our planning process was a whirl wind. Who says you can’t plan the perfect day in three months, and have a blast doin’ it?! I realized during our planning how truly lucky I am to have Jack to stand beside. Our happy day was truly a testimony of team work, love, compromise and countless episodes sittin’ side by side watching WE tv wedding shows.

Small and intimate was our goal...no maid of honor, no best man, no big wedding party, just Jack’s adorable nieces as the flower girls. Our original guest count was not to exceed 50, a comfortable 100 graced us with their presence. It was intimate, warm, exciting…it was the best day we’ve shared together.

Come Take a Peek!
