Looking for a Little Action!

>> Thursday, April 15, 2010

What started as a no plans, ho-hum day, it sure did end on a fun high note.

I'm starting to feel a little antsy but not gun-ho enough to get crazy involved in anything big. By noon I had managed to wash all the inside windows of the house and was about to tackle the outside when Mom popped by.

Mom was so nice to help me finish up the rest of my chores, vacuuming the rest of the upstairs and washing the windows I couldn't reach. I told her about my morning email exchange with the gals at work, just as a funny, and she jumped all over it.

Earlier I shared with the gals that I didn't think today was the day, and the only action I was going to find was at the casino, and if anyone wanted to ditch work and come along was more than welcomed.

Sooo, that's what Mom and I did. We headed to the Muckleshoot Casino in hopes of a little action. Although it didn't stir any labor progression we had an absolute riot. In four hours of Pia Goa, Black Jack and penny slot play we both walked away four dollars up, a comped dinner from the pit boss (an old friend of mom's) and the offer of a empty crap table if I happened to go into labor.

Although we didn't have anything exciting enough for a Muckleshoot Moment commercial spot, it was a great little afternoon escape.

Our Wonderful Begining

Sunday, December 2nd 2007

What a day, I felt like the luckiest kid in the world! We feel so blessed that we were able to share our day with friends and loved ones. It truly was one of the happiest days of both our lives and we loved each and every minute of it!

Our planning process was a whirl wind. Who says you can’t plan the perfect day in three months, and have a blast doin’ it?! I realized during our planning how truly lucky I am to have Jack to stand beside. Our happy day was truly a testimony of team work, love, compromise and countless episodes sittin’ side by side watching WE tv wedding shows.

Small and intimate was our goal...no maid of honor, no best man, no big wedding party, just Jack’s adorable nieces as the flower girls. Our original guest count was not to exceed 50, a comfortable 100 graced us with their presence. It was intimate, warm, exciting…it was the best day we’ve shared together.

Come Take a Peek!
